This policy explains how numberlore ("we") handles data. We have kept the site deliberately simple: there are no accounts, no payments and no newsletter, and the calculators run entirely in your browser.

What we process
- Calculator inputs. The names and dates you type into any calculator are processed in your browser to compute your numbers. They are not sent to or stored on our servers. So you do not have to retype them as you move between calculators, they are kept temporarily in your browser's session storage and are cleared automatically when you close the tab. If you use Copy link on the compatibility calculator, those names and dates are placed in the link's URL fragment so the recipient's browser can rebuild the reading. Anyone with that link can read the values, and the link may remain in browser or messaging history.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may briefly process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely and reliably (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics. If enabled, we use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) that records aggregated, anonymous usage such as page views and referrers. It sets no cookies, builds no cross-site profiles and does not identify you.
- Contact. If you email us, we process your message and address solely to respond.
What we do not do
We do not sell data, run advertising trackers, or store your birth data or name on our servers.
How long we keep data
Calculator inputs never leave your browser and are cleared when you close the tab, so we hold nothing to delete on our side. Server logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider for security and then discarded. Email you send us is retained only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde).
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest version.
